Keith worked as a well site geologist early in his career giving him an exceptional handle on reservoir rock properties. He is also an excellent log analyst. Keith took an early interest in coal bed methane in the early 90's and has been responsible for the generation and development of eight CBM projects over a 10 year period. Coal bed methane operations from drilling to completion to production require their own particular procedures and attention and involving the right people is as critical to success as picking the right targets. He currently has a strong interest in gas shales and believes that shale gas production will expand in the next decade as CBM did in the last. Keith has also had considerable success in exploration for conventional targets both carbonates and clastics.
